# How can I activate the WPS on my router?

# What is WPS?

WPS stands for Wi-Fi Protected Setup, meaning that devices synchronize themselves together through a simple button press as long as they have access to the same Wi-Fi network. Many printers offer this option.

# How do I activate the WPS ?

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) is a quick way to connect devices to your wireless network without needing to enter your credentials. Although some of our modems have a WPS button, Cogeco does not support this feature due to vulnerability from cybersecurity threats.
