How can I upgrade or downgrade my speed/plan?
Note: If you have an 11-digit Cogeco account number starting with a 5 or 6, you'll use My Account to manage your services. Get support content for using My Account. If you have a different account number, you'll use the Client Portal steps covered in this article.
Thinking about changing your internet speed? It's easy to upgrade or downgrade your plan directly through your online account.
- Connect to your Client Portal
- Go to the “My Bundles” tab
- Select the desired bundle
- Choose when you would like this to take place (ASAP or at a later date)
- Click “Confirm”
- Scroll to “Package Summary” and click “Save”
- Processing Time: Please allow 2 to 3 business days for the speed change to take effect.
- Billing: Your monthly bill will be automatically adjusted to reflect the new plan on a pro-rated basis.
- Plan Availability: When you change your plan, your previous plan may no longer be available if it's an older offer.
- Fees: Only one free speed change is allowed per 90-days period. If you make other changes during this period, a fee of $5 per change is applicable.
Once the speed change has been made, your billing is automatically adjusted on a pro-rata basis.
