What are the accepted payment methods?

Note: If you have an 11-digit Cogeco account number starting with a 5 or 6, you'll use My Account to manage your services. Get support content for using My Account. If you have a different account number, you'll use the Client Portal steps covered in this article.



Credit card payments are accepted.


Services are billed in advance every month. All indicated fees must be paid upon receiving your invoice using a credit card methods.


To guarantee that all equipment will be sent back to us at the end of a customer’s subscription, it is mandatory to have a credit card associated to all Cogeco accounts (as per our Terms and Conditions).


All payments must be made within the 21 days of an invoice’s creation to avoid interest fees or cancellation of services.



Visa, Mastercard and AMEX credit cards are accepted.



Prepaid credit cards from banks, and also those prepaid bought in stores or online are not accepted.


Don’t forget there is a treatment delay of up to 7 business days following the day of your payment. Make your payments on time by planning ahead. An automated confirmation message is sent to you when payment is received from our side.


Your first payment will be made by credit card when you sign up for your services online. This amount will be applied as a credit to your first invoice, which is generated on your activation day.
