How can I add or change my payment method?
Note: If you have a 5-digit Cogeco account number, you will continue to use this article. If you have a 11-digit Cogeco account number starting with a 5 or 6, you'll use My Account to manage your services. Get support content for using My Account.
How to Add or Change Your Payment Method
You can easily manage your payment methods at any time through your Cogeco Client Portal. Follow these steps to get started:
Adding a New Payment Method
- Log in to your Client Portal.
- From the menu on the left, click on Billing.
- Select Payment Method.
- At the bottom right of the page, click on Add a New Credit Card.
- Enter the required information and decide whether you want to set up automatic payments. If not, simply uncheck the corresponding box and click Confirm.
Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit and AMEX credit cards are accepted.
Prepaid credit cards from banks, and also those prepaid bought in stores or online are not accepted.
Deleting an Existing Payment Method
- Log in to your Client Portal.
- Go to the Billing section, and then click Payment Method.
- Find the payment method you wish to remove and click the "X Delete" button next to it.
You must have at least one payment method on file, so you can't delete your last remaining method.
