How can I add or change my payment method?

Note: If you have an 11-digit Cogeco account number starting with a 5 or 6, you'll use My Account to manage your services. Get support content for using My Account. If you have a different account number, you'll use the Client Portal steps covered in this article.



How to Add or Change Your Payment Method


You can easily manage your payment methods at any time through your Cogeco Client Portal. Follow these steps to get started:


Adding a New Payment Method


  1. Log in to your Client Portal.
  2. From the menu on the left, click on Billing.
  3. Select Payment Method.
  4. At the bottom right of the page, click on Add a New Credit Card.
  5. Enter the required information and decide whether you want to set up automatic payments. If not, simply uncheck the corresponding box and click Confirm.


You can use Visa and Mastercard, but we can't accept prepaid credit cards. 


Deleting an Existing Payment Method


  1. Log in to your Client Portal.
  2. Go to the Billing section, and then click Payment Method.
  3. Find the payment method you wish to remove and click the "X Delete" button next to it.


You must have at least one payment method on file, so you can't delete your last remaining method.
