What about upload speeds?
Just like download speeds, the upload speed you need depends on your household's lifestyle.
You'll want a plan with higher upload speeds if you frequently upload large files or live-stream content. This is especially important for:
- Content creators like Twitch streamers and YouTubers.
- Professionals who regularly upload large files, such as graphic designers or video editors.
For example, uploading a 10 GB video file with a 10 Mbps upload speed could take over two and a half hours. Our standard upload speeds are more than enough for most other activities. For context, most video calls require less than 3 Mbps, and online gaming typically uses less than 5 Mbps.
